The real story of Nicotine salt liquids in Liverpool (1.5 ohm regular)
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Liverpool, covering seasonal picks, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The Liverpool market for nicotine salt liquids has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
Local availability in Liverpool shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Delivery across Liverpool is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
Delivery across Liverpool is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on AEKU Slim is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 65, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 50:50 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Liverpool shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.0 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 50:50 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Cobalt Blue finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Charging over Micro-USB takes about 28 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the AEKU Slim earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 65 and recharges over Micro-USB.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cola Zero: sweet, fizzy, described as cola sweetness with a light fizz. On a 50:50 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Liverpool
Availability in Liverpool is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
